Actual commencing salary £14,231 rising through annual increments up to £15,072 (pay award pending)
Springwell Learning Community is looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to oversee and promote regular attendance across both academies.
The post holder will assist in tackling underachievement by working with parents, carers, pupils and other agencies, to remove any barriers that are affecting the attendance of our pupils and to promote positive attitudes by pupils and families towards education.
The role will involve regular liaison with academy staff and acting on information through practical interventions with parents, in order to improve attendance and punctuality, ensuing that parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities.
Experience of using SIMS and working with vulnerable and disaffected pupils and their families is essential in this role.
