About the Role:
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen in our Central Support Team in Barnsley, working within the HR and Payroll functions. The successful applicant will be experienced in all aspects of the HR function as well as from a school/academy or local government setting.
This full time role will support our academies on a number of HR matters, providing advice on NJC regional terms and conditions of employment as well those conditions for teaching staff. Advice on safer recruitment checks and practices, as well as on academy contracts of employment will also feature in this role.
Working alongside our Payroll Manager, the post will provide generalist advice on payroll issues, as well as the inputting and processing of multiple payrolls using the in-house payroll system. If you have the ability to build strong team working relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders, this could be the ideal post for you.
A level 2 qualification or equivalent is essential and a CPP qualification desirable, plus experience in a similar role. For further details please view the Job Description for role responsibilities and person specification.
