Department: The Forest Academy
Reporting to: Head of School
The Forest Academy is a great school, with very many aspects of our work recognised as Outstanding in our recent Ofsted inspection. We are looking for a passionate, committed teacher to join our UKS2 team and take advantage of the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues to hone your craft and unleash your potential. We are fully committed to your professional development and welcome applications from newly or recently qualified teachers who have an ambition to be the best they can be.
Forest is passionate about offering the very best quality provision in all aspects of the school experience for our little people – because we simply believe they deserve nothing less. We have a strong desire to ensure that our children have everything that they need to become successful adults when they leave us. If you are passionate about improving the life chances of young people then this could be the right place.
If you are:
A good teacher who has a thorough understanding of engaging children and eliciting their best.
Passionate about the achievement of all children and doing ‘whatever it takes’ to secure pupil progress and outcomes.
Enthusiastic about your role in a school environment which sees pupils at its heart.
Committed to your own professional development
A strong team player who enjoys collaboration with colleagues
…then we want to hear from you.
What can we offer?
A supportive, hardworking, dedicated and rather fun team
Passion, commitment, energy, enthusiasm
Effective systems and supportive leadership
Brilliant professional development opportunities with imminent opportunities for leadership development
The Forest Academy is part of Wellspring Academy Trust. Wellspring is a growing Multi-Academy Trust with sixteen Academies and four Free Schools in pre-opening. We are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve.
We are an education charity with Academies in the Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Education sectors, working with students with challenging behaviour and Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). As such, we work with some of the most challenging young people in the system.
As the Trust continues to grow our roles offer pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference. We value our people; collegial working at all levels is central to our culture. High quality induction training and ongoing professional development support are guaranteed. There will be a broad range of opportunities for you to realise your professional vision and ambitions within the Trust.
