We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We want our people to reflect the diversity of our communities and welcome applications from individuals from all backgrounds, especially from under-represented groups including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities.

The Estates Manager will play a vital role, leading and coordinating our enthusiastic team and work in close partnership with our Academy Leaders.

The role will support Wellspring’s Special Provision Partnership across the Barnsley and Kirklees region. The role involves knowledge of estates and facilities management services including PFI arrangements and contract management.

Wellspring places great emphasis on the quality of its physical environments, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and regeneration. In recent years, the Trust has seen exponential growth through Academy conversions and the development of new Academies.  The most notable new developments being three state of the art Special Schools in Leeds, a 420 place modular mainstream Primary School in Leeds and four traditional built Alternative Academies in Lincolnshire, with a total investment of over £80 million.

Wellspring is at an exciting point in its development with several pipeline academies and three new build Free Schools in development. The continuing growth of the Trust offers exciting pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference.

We value our people. Collegial working at all levels is central to our culture. High quality induction training and ongoing professional development support are guaranteed.
