We are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve. We value our people; collegial working at all levels is central to our culture. Induction training and ongoing professional development support are guaranteed.

The importance of strong and effective governance is not under-estimated at Wellspring. The Governance Team has an extremely important role to play in providing support and advice to the Trust Board, Board Committees, Governing Bodies and Management in our Academies.

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills who ideally (though not essentially) has experience and a proven track record as a highly effective clerk.

We are interested in hearing from people who:

  • are self-motivated and customer-focused
  • enjoy working as part of an inclusive team
  • have a commitment to supporting the work of education leaders and are passionate about learning.

There are 2 posts available – 1 post will primarily support Governing Bodies in Barnsley and the other post will primarily support Governing Bodies in Leeds and North Yorkshire. The ability to work from home is required, as is a driving licence. The role is circa 20 hours per week. Working days and hours are negotiable.

Work patterns will vary week to week depending on meeting cycles, though meeting dates are known well in advance. Some early evening work is required due to the nature of the role.
