An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Forest and become a part of the magic!

The Forest Academy is currently looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their support team on a full time basis.  The school is committed to recruiting graduate applicants through the Schools Direct training scheme and has a proven track record of supporting trainees through the early stages of their training into successful teaching careers. There may be the opportunity for a strong candidate to obtain a place on the course the following academic year. This would be in partnership with Positive Regard Teaching School Alliance.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will start your career by supporting a class teacher and, as you grow in confidence, you will support pupils, varying in size from small groups to whole class. As a person you should be enthusiastic and passionate about education. Staff in the school are personable and work extremely well as a team. Any new members of staff must be conducive in this environment and should be able to thrive in a school that is determined to become outstanding.

The school will be looking to interview Graduate candidates with experience of working with young people, as a Teaching Assistant, or with other areas of child related experience such as voluntary work with children outside of a classroom environment.
