Department: Central Support Team
Reporting to: Payroll Manager
Wellspring Academy Trust is a growing Multi-Academy Trust with twenty-five Academies across Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and the Humber. The Trust also provides a range of extended services, including mental health services for the NHS, social care services for young adults, and outreach behaviour and care support services. As a Trust we are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve.
In order to support the ongoing growth of the Trust we are seeking to recruit a Payroll Officer to support the Payroll Manager in all aspects of payroll processing and pensions administration.
We are looking for someone who:
· Has experience in payroll processing
· Has experience in pensions administration
· Is self-motivated, customer focused and organised
· Enjoys working as part of an inclusive team
Previous payroll experience is essential (though not necessarily in the education sector), as is the ability to multi-task and work flexibly within a team environment. The role is currently working from home due to COVID-19, but the initial training period will take place at the Trust’s head office in Barnsley.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career, and as the Trust continues to grow our roles offer pathways for progression for ambitious and dynamic individuals.
