Wellspring Academy Trust is a growing Multi-Academy Trust, currently supporting twenty seven Academies. We are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve. We are an education charity with Academies in the Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Education Sectors.

We require an experienced and passionate Relief Estates Site Operative to join our talented and hardworking estates team. The post holder will support the Senior Site Operative and Estates Manager to deliver safe, fit for purpose and inspirational school environments for our young people.

The role will support our academies in the West region.

Wellspring places great emphasis on the quality of its physical environments, actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and regeneration. In recent years, the Trust has seen exponential growth through Academy conversions and the development of new Academies.  The most notable new developments being three state of the art Special Schools in Leeds, a 420 place modular mainstream Primary School in Leeds and four traditional built Alternative Academies in Lincolnshire, with a total investment of over £80million.

Wellspring is at an exciting point in its development with several pipeline academies and three new build Free Schools in development. The continuing growth of the Trust offers exciting pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference.

We value our people. Collegial working at all levels is central to our culture. High quality induction training and ongoing professional development support are guaranteed.

We are interested in hearing from people who:

  • Are self-motivated, customer focused, efficient and organised.
  • Understand the importance of completing work to a high standard.
  • Take great pride in the work for which they are responsible.
  • Experienced in carrying out building maintenance and multi trade repair and refurbishment tasks.
  • Experience in facilities and compliance management across multiple sites.
