Wellspring is a growing Multi-Academy Trust which is committed to innovation and educational excellence by empowering the Academies within the Trust to ‘make a difference’ to the pupils they serve.
This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and forward thinking organisation as it embarks on its future five year strategic plan. This role is of significant importance as we build for the next phase of growth and development.
The composition of our organisation offers a unique opportunity to provide a diverse and inclusive offer that serves all phases and sectors of education. Furthermore, our provision is enhanced by specialist SEND, Behaviour and Mental Health and Wellbeing services.
To date, we have established three regional hubs for ITT delivery with high quality university partners in order to service our current geographic reach. In addition, we have further plans to diversify our current offering to include workforce development and apprenticeship growth.
Fundamentally, our programme must provide teachers and classroom practitioners with a clear and compelling offer than supports both career progression and professional development. This will not only attract individuals to the teaching profession but also supports them to stay, as they move around the school system and develop as teachers and leaders.
The role will provide leadership and management of the Trust-wide ITT and associated programmes. This role will develop the delivery system for teacher and school leader development in line with our organisational growth strategy and in response to national policy initiatives.
The post holder will demonstrate provenance in business growth through developing and maintaining effective relationships with a range of key strategic partners. You will develop and implement an ambitious and sustainable growth plan in line with our values, key business objectives and financial targets.
Utilising our product development framework you will undertake market engagement activities, create new and develop existing products and partnerships, establish quality improvement systems and monitor and evaluate effectiveness and contribute to our assurance framework.
A key aspiration is to achieve accreditation on the register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP) and the register of end-point assessment organisations (EPAO).
We are looking for a leader with extensive experience of building highly motivated and engaged teams to deliver complex programmes of work. You should possess strong interpersonal skills along with experience of working in a delivery focused, agile environment, which is focused on user need.
