Wellspring Academy Trust is a growing Multi-Academy Trust with 25 academies. We are committed to making a difference to the lives and life chances of the young people and the communities we serve.
We are an education charity with Academies in the Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Education sectors, working with students with challenging behaviour and Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). As such, we work with some of the most challenging young people in the system.
As the Trust continues to grow our roles offer pathways for ambitious and dynamic individuals who are determined to make a difference. We value our people; collegial working at all levels is central to our culture. High quality induction training and ongoing professional development support are guaranteed. There will be a broad range of opportunities for you to realise your professional vision and ambitions within the Trust.
We are interested in hearing from people who:
● Are creative, imaginative, committed and passionate about learning
● Can lead and inspire others
● Have a commitment to working with children and young people with challenging behaviour.
We are looking for an exceptional UKS2 Assistant Head Teacher to join our leadership team to help drive continued improvement to become a truly outstanding school in the eyes of children and communities. As an individual…
● You will be passionate about learning
● You will be able to demonstrate a track record of impact and success
● You will be able to communicate your passion to children and colleagues alike
● You will be creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable
Your role will be to model outstanding practice in the classroom, to support, guide, and develop the practice of colleagues and trainees in partnership with Academy Senior Leaders, to innovate, explore, research, refine and define quality teaching and learning in our Academies. Your work is likely to extend your influence across a cluster of Academies. You will be an exemplar of good practice and a leader of joint-practice development.
This is a senior role. Though based in Barnsley, there will be opportunities for you to work with other Academies within the Trust and to work with colleagues beyond the Trust in a consultancy role.
