Mental Health Awareness Week took place from 18-24 May 2020. The theme was kindness.
As an organisation we recognise that positive mental health is crucial to wellbeing of our students, staff and wider community. This is especially important during the Covid-19 pandemic, which made many of us feel anxious and isolated.
One act of kindness can often lead to more. Not only will it help support others mental health and creates a sense of belonging that reduces isolation, helping others can also benefit our own mental health and wellbeing. The beautiful thing about kindness is that it is contagious, and we all need it now more than ever. Be kind to yourself and those around you. Together we are stronger.
